Project Profile: Kellison Elementary School

The Kellison Elementary School library has been renovated and enlarged to meet the current state guidelines providing space for two seated classroom instructional areas, space for library staff, a/v storage and educational staff resources. The new library esign features a vaulted ceiling, natural lighting and right cheerful interior finishes. A new four classroom ddition replaced classroom space that was lost to ue to library expansion. The project also included lassroom electrical power and data upgrades and a new automatic fire suppression system throughout the building along with two accessible ramps to connect existing changes in building floor levels. The library contains approximately 2,400 Sq. Ft. of expanded and renovated area. The classroom addition contains approximately 3,600 Sq. Ft. of new
classroom area. The classroom addition was built with a structural steel frame, steel studs and masonry veneer. Glenn Construction Company, Inc. was the program manager for the project.
